Start : Meldreth Station
(S/E) From Meldreth Station, the walk starts by going onto the railway platform itself, then crossing the passenger bridge to get to the other side, where you then cross the field (South-East), goes under A10 towards Melbourn. The path eventually joins Station Road and leads to the Grade II * Listed All Saints Church.
(1) From the Church take a walk left (North-East) along High Street through the village. Then at the junction with The Moor, turn on Moor street then on your left-hand side find the Hub.
(2) Turn left again at the Moor (North-East) and follow the road past Melbourn Village College.
(3) Turn left (South-West) just after the children's playground. You then continue across Melbourn FC playing fields and then at the end, turn right (North-West) on the path running along River Mel on your left-hand side. Pass under the major A10 road then head across the field towards the railway track.
(4) Cross the railway track over a stile, and continue into Melwood Nature Reserve. The path runs through woods and along the chalk stream river Mel on your left. At the end of the path is Grade I listed Meldreth Church on North End road.
(5) Turn left (West) at the church from where you can return to the station walking along North End road then High Street through Meldreth Village passing the British Queen Pub.
(6) Just past Woodland Drive on your left, look for the footpath sign on Meldreth High Street which will bring you back onto Meldreth Station platform through a kissing gate.(S/E)
