Description

You can start this linear walk from Nether Alderley or Wilmslow and it runs along the busy Alderley Edge Bypass and back.

(S/E) Follow Melrose Way until you reach a roundabout next to Congleton Road.

(1) At the roundabout, turn back and walk again along Melrose Way until you reach the departure point.(S/E)

Useful Information

It is a very safe bicycling route as it has cycle lanes on both sides separated from the road. This route is very popular with locals who use it to walk, run and cycle along.
There are public footpaths off this route towards Alderley Edge, Warford, Chelford and Nether Alderley.
