Description

Park your car in the small car park along the road (B3289) which leads to Trelissick garden at crossroads towards Feock and cycling network 3.

(S/E) From crossroads, follow the public footpath and the cycling network 3 on the left.

(1) Go down slightly in woods until you reach a gate on your right (path forbidden for cycling and horse riding). Go through the gate and follow the path along Lamouth Creek on your left.

(2) Ignore the footbridge on your left and after a few metres, leave also another path which goes up on your right (National Trust signpost). Continue straight ahead along this pleasant path next to the river for almost one mile, go past an information signpost until you reach a fork. Bear left following "woodland walk" signpost, go down a few steps which lead the road.

(3) Cross over the road, go past a private property using stairs still following "woodland walk" signpost.
After stairs, leave Trelissick Garden & House entrance on your right, bear left heading to the junction. Ignore the path which leads the ferry but follow "South woodland walk" on the right.
This large path provides beautiful views over the River Fal.

(4) Then the path goes past a huge beech tree (unfortunately dead, read interesting explanations!) and reaches a beach and Channels Creek. Climb right to the path along the black barrier until a junction.

(5) Bear left onto the small asphalt road and follow this way ignoring paths towards Trelissick car park on your right until you join a fork (North woodland walk signpost). Leave this asphalt road and turn right heading to Old Lodge (National Trust). Bear left, then go past New Lodge heading to the main road. Take left onto the road for 200 metres until you are back to your car next crossroads.(S/E)
