Parking at Viridor Wood.
(S/E) Take the footpath on the south side of the car park by trees along the south-east boundary. Continue south-east on the path through trees.
(1) Take good quality path northeast beside the stream and continue north.
(2) Turn left into Viridor Wood and follow the path heading west.
(3) Head north off good path via fishing ponds and across the field to Epsom Drive. Take Epsom Drive and then Furlong Close to A58.
(4) Turn left along Lily Lane for a few meters and then take the footpath on your right between houses until field boundary. From here, turn left and then head north across the field to footpath marker to the east of coppice. Take footpath west along the south side of trees. Continue West on farm track across the field.
(5) Turn left and pass next to Bryn Gates Airfield. Continue south on the path beside farm buildings. Turn right onto Bryn Gates Lane via gate.
(6) Turn left and quickly after turn right heading west along the northern boundary. Follow the path as it bears south. Leave the road and head south to the lake. Follow the footpath around the side of the lake.
(7) Turn left along the path and then the second path on your right. Follow the substantial footpath to the south and then south-east until you reach Bolton Road. There, crossroad back to starting car park.(S/E)
