Description

Start at the car park near the church of St. Francis (S).

Pass the church and the tourist office and join the GR90. Continue uphill on Rue Dr Bérenguier street and then the stairs to the right and along Traverse du Château.
Take the route labelled "Circuit Pédestre n°2-3/Notre-Dame de Constance". At the sign (1), follow the GR that branches off to the right and follows Chemin des Oratoires to arrive at the Notre-Dame de Constance chapel (2). Turn left to get to the viewpoint from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the coastline.
Return to the GR that runs along the chapel on the left and follow the markings to the chapel.
At the fork, just before the D41 (3), at the hairpin turn left and, 50 m further on, leave the GR to take Sentier du Vallon de l’Entre la Colle. Head down passing by paths leading off to the left and right, cross the ford under the power line and cross the GR at marker 103 (4). Climbing up north, turn right at the fork and merge onto D41 (5).
Turn right and, about 100 m further on, turn left on a wide path that connects the corners and join the GR51-90 (6).
Turn right on this route and continue to Col de Landon (7).
At the intersection near the pass, leave the GR90 that starts on the left and continue straight on the GR51.
Approximately 600 m further on (8) leave the GR to take a right onto the track. Shortly after, ignore another track off to the right and continue south-east to a T-junction (9).
Turn right, go under the power line and come to a fork (10). Turn right and, 100 m further on, turn left.
Head south-west up to the electricity pylon concrete to find the rocks of the Avenon Rock (marker 443) (11) on the right, slightly off the path. Enjoy lovely views to the sea.
Back on the road, turn right and join the ridge road (12). The turn right continue for about 100 m after the sign that reads "Fin de la forêt des Maures/Commune du Lavandou", turn left into the path down hairpin.
At the intersection (13), take the trail on the right that passes near a ruined house. Cross the ford, turn left at the next intersection and at a tank on the left, keep straight on the track to the Bormes cemetery (14). At the Commandos d’Afrique roundabout, pass the cemetery on the left and take the road to the right to the car park of the starting point.
