Dumyat Hill summit

Description

(S/E) At the car park look for a tall wooden way-marker pointing out the footpath to Dumyat Hill. It runs pretty much parallel to the Sheriffmuir Road in a general north-east direction.

Turn left (North East) and walk along the road for 100m, looking out for a metal gate on your right leading onto the open hillside.

(1) Go through the gate and follow the obvious earth and grass footpath uphill in a south-east direction.

(2) Keep right (East) at a fork 60m along the path (195m elevation)

(3) Continue uphill in a general easterly direction to a stile at 350m elevation.

(4) Keep left (East) at a fork just after the stile to follow the track uphill.

(5) 640m along the trail at 418m elevation you will reach the summit of Dumyat Hill.

Descend via the same route back to Pendreich Forestry Commission car park (S/E)
