This is a level walk with a couple of stiles where a variety of wildlife may be seen.

Enjoy a mostly level walk with no stiles between Wargrave to Twyford railway stations. A shorter version is available to avoid some muddy paths in the Stanlake area but there is no footway across the railway bridge and care needs to be taken.

This circular walk can be very muddy in wet weather and there are some awkward stiles. Rebecca's Well is a grade 2 listed building. After crossing the railway and descending the steps to the river bank this is a level walk on a good path along the banks of the River Thames, between trees at first then opening out. Nearer Reading there are benches along the Thames promenade, ideal for a picnic on a sunny day.

After passing through the shady woods and well-tended farms of the beautiful Chiltern Hills enjoy the extensive views over the Thames Valley, before descending to the twin villages of Whitchurch and Pangbourne.

This walk passes through some of the beautiful beech woods of the Chiltern Hills. This area of outstanding natural beauty is within easy reach of London, and an ideal location for a day out away from the stresses of everyday life. The footpaths in this area are well looked after by the Chiltern Society, and discreet arrows on the trees depict the rights of way.

A scenic walk which climbs gently out of the valley (with some low stiles to negotiate) then levels out before gradually descending to the riverside at Hambleden Lock. The return journey is along the towpath beside the famous course of Henley Royal Regatta.

A pleasant linear walk along the Thames Path between Henley-on-Thames and Marlow. The path is easy to follow and is almost all downhill. There are a number of public transport options to return to the start.

⚠️The railway crossing into Ambarrow Court Nature Reserve is now permanently closed and the Three Castles Path has been diverted to cross the railway further north.
