Gosforth walks

Low level circular walk from Nether Wasdale to wast water shore. Gorgeous views of the surrounding valley, summits and wast water lake. Possible to stop for a swim in the lake. This is a dog friendly walk.

This Lake District walk is strenuous including seven summits in what can be a tiring day. Good navigational skills are essential when visibility is poor. The rewards for the hard work are numerous and you will enjoy many wonderful lakeland panaoramas completing the walk.

Dog friendly circular walk following the Esk river to see Stanley Force waterfall and extended to the remote tarn of Devoke Water.

Lovely walk starting from Dalegarth, following the river Esk until Doctor Bridge, and returning by Low Birker Tarn and the other side of the river Esk. This is a dog-friendly walk. If you take the detour, there is no path to access Low Birken tarn. We can only see the small tarn from above. The view from the path going to the tarn is lovely. Good navigation skills are needed to walk around Tarn Crag as the path is not visible.

Dog-friendly circular walk starting from Dalegarth Station pasing by Blea Tarn, Mitterdale valley and White Moss little stone circle. It offers amazing view over the Eskdale valley.

Dog-friendly circular walk to Scafell Pike and going down by Sprinkling Tarn. Scafell Pike is the highest summit in England. View from the top is incredible.

Dog friendly walk around Cogra Moss tarn using the higher path in the forest.

This is a walk from the centre of Buttermere village going up through Ghyll Woods up to Grassgarth Coppice. From here head up to Rannerdale Knotts. We came back down the northwestern side and followed the route back to the village.

This circular walk brings you along Crummock Water, up Scale Force before scrambling up to Red Pike and down to Bleaberry Tarn and Buttermere.

⚠️Be careful along the way, there are some parts where you need to put your hand on the rock, there is no obvious path so navigation skill is important and there is a scramble going to Bleaberry Tarn which can be challenging .

A short Lake District ridge walk that includes two Wainwrights. Surrounded by higher fells, the ridge between Ard Crags and Knott Rigg offers some wonderful Lakeland scenery.

Linear walk from Whitehaven to St Bees following the England Coast Path. Great views of the South of Scotland and the Isle of Man.
