Lovely area, and interesting walk. However poor directions an we got lost. Problem around point 1/2. No idea what Wheelton Moor track is, inaccurate references to north and east. Managed that part, path at 3 OK, but it teed, no sign of plantation. We guessed and ended up tramping over moorland with no track, it was a difficult mile to get to the road, lucky to find a way out avoiding barbed wire. From the road we were able to pick up the route again with no issues.
