Crossing the river
Under the road

Description

(S/E) From the junction with Wyndon Lane and Bellister Bridge, head Sout-West down the lane. Some allotments will be on your right.

(1) At the end of the cul-de-sac, turn left (East-South-East) and right (South) down the steps to take you under A69. After the bridge, carry on your right, following the lane and track through Wydon Farm. And then up the hill. Keep the trees on your left until you see a style taking you into the trees.

(2) Follow the only footpath (South-West) through the trees until you get to Wydon Eals Farm. Go over the style and turn sharp right (South-West) then follow the lane until you meet the road at Feathersone Bridge.

(3) Turn sharp left and go over the bridge South-East. When over the bridge, turn sharp left (East). Follow the road until you get to a turn into a caravan park on your left. Carry on past the turn until you see a footpath on your left.

(4) Turn left there (North-East) and then follow the only footpath. Walk through the trees on the only footpath. Then there will be a turn to your right (East) and follow round the South side of the trees. You will come to a road but stay on the footpath left of the road. You will then pass under the A69 again.

(5) Turn right (North-East) then after a few yards turn right onto a lane (West). Follow the lane until you come to a sharp left turn (North-West). Follow this road over the river until you get back to the starting point. (S/E)
