You can park your car along Marine Drive close to Hannafore Point for example.
(S/E) Walk along the seafront until you reach a gate. You can read interesting explanations about the Priory of Lammana and glance at the map.
(1) Past the gate, you can see on your right the location of Monk's House used from 13th century. (Probably lodging important guest and pilgrims waiting to cross to St Michael's chapel on Looe Island).
(2) Walk up the slope diagonally to your right to reach remains of Lammana Chapel. The priory was originally located around the chapel but on Looe island in front of you! However, the new chapel of Lammana was later built where you are now, possibly because of tides or storms. As written, the two chapels are exactly the same height above the sea level and each would have been visible from the other! Continue straight targeting Portnadler Bay. Got through a gate, then cross the narrow footbridge and go down to the main coastal path. Go back to the entrance gate and follow the same way leading to your car.(S/E)
