(2) Then, walk the open grassland next to the cliffs and follow the signpost with a yellow arrow. Walk along the cliff edge with great views to Cheltenham and the valley for half a mile until you find a bridleway signpost (blue arrow).

(3) Go past the signpost and turn right at the right angle towards the stairs. go up the stairs and go through the gate. Follow the narrow path which joins a track between fields, go past buildings in ruins before you reach a farm.

(4) Skirt buildings by the right side and go straight "Coberley 1 1/2m" crossing over the road. Walk the track for 500 metres before you bear left at the T-junction. Go through the gate (yellow arrow) and descent the field leading to a stile.

(5) Past the stile, go across the long meadow next to Hartley Wood for 500 metres and go slightly up keeping the right side next to the hedge. Walk along the hedge (right side) until you reach the road. Cross over A436, take the path which bends right and then, go straight ahead for 500 metres(ignore a track on your right) to Coberley you can see far away.

(6) Enter the village, go straight until you reach a small grassy square with a monument. Go slightly right across the square and descend the path. At the road, head to the kissing gate in front of you following "Gloucestershire Way". The public footpath joins a track before you reach a road after 450 metres. Ascend the road on the right for 200 metres before you take the track on the left still following "Gloucestershire Way".

(7) After 300 metres, leave "Gloucestershire Way". Ascend the restricted byway on the right before you go through "Barber Wood" gate.

(8) Before you reach the top of South Hill, you can notice a gate when the path levels past the section in the woods. Go through this gate and go down the grassy path leading to a drinking trough. Continue down the path until you join a long open meadow.

(9) Go across this meadow diagonally left until you join Barber Wood car park. Past the car park, cross over the road (A436) and ascend Ullenwood Manor Road for 300 metres going past Cotswold Hill Golf Club car park.
