Parking available on the D42A at the Pas de la Griotte.
(S) Just after Pas de la Griotte, take the track that heads down to the right under the road and continue until it joins another track. Take this track to the right (1).
Ignore the paths headed right and continue on the main track (on the left). After a very furrowed path (2) the track turns into a small path that brings you close to hand hugs the side of the lake.
Cross the dam (3) and head down to the right along the valley and at the fork in the road, branch right. When this track leads to a vineyard, go straight on until you reach the road at Brégançon castle (not to be confused with the fort). Turn right and follow the road (D42A) until you find the entrance to the Estagnol Park on the left (4).
Follow the long alley to Estagnol beach (5).
Now simply follow left the coastal path which alternates between crossing sandy beaches and rocky areas.
At Cabasson beach (6) cross the car park and follow the road that heads up to the left. At the junction, at Château de Malherbe (7) go straight ahead, take the small road marked “Sans Issu” (dead end).
After passing the campsite, in a hairpin bend, take the track to Conques on the right (8) that climbs markedly up to the ridge.
At the commemorative stone for volunteer firefighters (9) take the beautiful Vincennes trail that starts on the left. This section has 360° views of an area from Hyères to Lavandou and beyond.
Now, simply stay on the main track ignoring the various turn-offs to reach the starting point of the walk.
