Description

Park your car at Port Gaverne car park next to the slipway in front of "Pilchards".

(S/E) From the harbour, ascend the road to Port Isaac for 350 metres until you turn right at St Endellion car park. Walk this driveway along the cliff past the car park and bear right when you see the South West coast path. Go past properties on your left until you reach Fore Street in front of "The Cornish Cove".
Turn right and descend for 150 metres until you turn left in Rose Hill for a few metres.

(1) Turn again left in Margarets Lane and go past The Birdcage (distinctive NT Holiday Cottage). When you reach Trewetha Lane, bear right for 50 metres and go down in Meadowstile Lane (hidden narrow lane on your right) until you reach again Rose Hill. Bear left and quicky right in Back Lane. Go down the lane which finally bends right in Middle Street. Descend Middle Street ignoring three streets on you left until you turn right in Dolphin Street. Walk this street for 50 metres and bear left in Squeezy Belly Alley (small passage) which reaches Fore street next to "The Golden Lion Inn".

(2) Descend left towards the harbour, go past the boat launching on your right and turn right in Roscarrock Hill before "Harbour treats".

(3) Ascend this road and the path which leads to the top of the hill with a nice viewpoint overlooking the harbour, the cliffs and Port Isaac. Retrace your steps to crossroads and ascend Church Hill on your right past "Harbour treats" for 100 metres before you follow the path on the left in front of Hillside Cottage (before the restricted zone signpost).

(4) Follow the yellow arrow, go through the metallic gate on the left until you reach Port Isaac Mill House. Go past properties, then go up the driveway a few metres and bear left to the public footpath on the left past the gate (yellow arrow).

(5) When you reach the direction signpost, turn left to "Trewetha 1/4 mile", cross the footbridge and ascend this short steep section which leads to Trewetha. You finally reach the main road (B3267), then turn left walking along this traffic road for 100 metres (be careful), go past the mailbox and Trewetha Farm before you find the public footpath on the right. Go through the stile and go down the path along the fence which overlooks Port Gaverne. Descend a few steps, then the path levels close to the properties. You finally reach the road and the car park next to Pilchards.(S/E)
