Start at the large car park near the Nordic skiing building on the D55 just before the Col des Glières.
Head south-east to reach Les Mouilles (1) then up to point 1689 (2), then head south-west to pass near large chalets below, and you will see the Crêt St. Germain (3) and La Reinette (4).
Look out for the chapel which is visible from afar (5).
From the chapel the way back is marked with yellow flags. This is the GR96. It is a broad path that gently leads you back to the car park.
Snowshoe circuit on the vast Glières Plateau.
Besides the historical aspect, the Glières Plateau is interesting to visit because the mountains that surround it are strong points of reference.
