The Chemin des ânes (the donkey trail)

Start at Cantelauze school car park in Fonsorbes.
Cross the road and take Chemin de Thière (towards the Écurie de l’Orchidée stables). After a few tens of metres, at the fork (1), do not continue to the stables but take the dirt road on the left. Continue by making a succession of left-right turns to stay on the edge of the woods on the left. After this first wood, head to a second small wood to the right. Head into the wood and keep alongside the wood to the right. Take care at the junction with houses opposite: you have to go right and climb over a ditch, normally dry. Continuing onwards, you meet a path that leads to a property called "Roch". You can enter right at the start and follow along the water’s edge to the left. Behind the property, you enter a path which follows the water’s edge. At the end of this road, you cross a hiking trail (2) used by cyclists, so be careful if you have dogs. Turn right on the hiking trail. At the end you will find donkeys and sheep (allow for a short break just before you arrive here to have a picnic as there is a nice view).
At Domaine de la Source after the sheep, take the path on the right (3) to return to the starting point past the Écurie de l’Orchidée stables.
