After parking in the car park (accessed from Le Pré), down towards the lake, passing the Jaunay inn (1).
Keep the bank of the lak to your left by heading east (from the "Pre" to "Chateaulong"). Reach a road (2) and turn on to it to the right. Then leave it immediately to take the left path. Do not cross the bridge.
Head along the bank to reach a small bridge leading to the reservoir. (3) (towards the fish and ornithological reserves of "Moulin des Rochelles"). Cross to the left bank and along to a place called the Baudrière.
Leaving the hamlet, take the road on the right. At the leisure centre of (4) La Baudrière, leave the road and turn left to follow the path along the water (5), as far as the Jaunay dam (6). Switch to the other side by walking over the dam.
To complete the circuit then head up along the right bank to Le Pré following the path protected by woods and hills.
