This is an easy family walk around Upper Tamar Lake. On your way, you can even use bird-watching facilities!
Park your car at Upper Tamar Lake car park.
(D/A) Go down towards the dam, cross it and turn left at the T-Junction ("Round Lake Path")
(1) Follow this well-marked path walking around the lake for almost 2,5 miles. Cross a footbridge at the end of the lake.
(2) Notice bird-watching facilities you can use on the other bank!
(3) When you reach a fork with a direction signpost, turn left "Activity and Angling Centre". Go past the Outdoor Centre (offers a range of activities!) on your right and you are back to the car park.
