Park your car on the B3306 (small lay-by left side) past Trendrine from St Yves.
(S/E) Follow the main road for 200 metres until you reach the summit and turn left towards the path next to the stone building (garage) on the other side of the road. Go through a low wall, continue right at the fork and left a the second one leading to a larger path 400 metres later. Bear left and go straight ahead until you reach Zennor Quoit. This is a ruined burial chamber but still impressive with a heavy capstone (probably around 12 tons).
(1) From the quoit, continue straight towards the ruined wall and the tor (boulders) you can see far away, go past the wall until you reach an old settlement (notice two stone circles on your left). This narrow path in the middle of ferns leads to an old wooden gate.
(2) Go through it for a quick way and return straight to the summit of Trendrine Hill (OS marker triangulation post at the top) if you want to admire 360° views including the sea and St Yves! Go back to the wooden gate (2) and turn right along the low wall. Go past rocks and enter a larger path.
(3) Continue straight down the evident path towards the road until you reach a small farm building. Go through the gate leading to the main road. Bear left and walk along this traffic road for half a mile until you reach your car.(S/E)
